I am looking for a permanent, safe, loving home for my retired riding horse.
'Mr. Dewey Stevens" is Mr. Personality! He is a big Teddy Bear who loves to please anyone he meets.
He is a terrific and easy pasture mate/companion horse. He has helped to raise foals and can be placed with mares, geldings and even stallions. He is a great babysitter and keeps to his own.
Dewey x-ties, trailers, bathes and stands like a gentleman for the farrier and vet.

He is a spry 22 years of age and would love to show someone what he knows. He enjoys hacking, trails and being ridden bareback.

Dewey responds to quiet, sensitive aids and goes in a loose ring snaffle bit. He can go in an english, western or dressage saddle.
Although he has a great deal of dressage training he will not be placed as a beginner or lesson horse.

With the exception to bathing and riding, Dew wears a crib strap all the time.
Dewey is currently UPTD on all vaccinations, worming, teeth and farrier work. He is currently barefoot.

References and a visit (pictures) of his potential home will be required. USA only, all prospective families must meet & ride him in person.
Run in sheds or stabling with access to a paddock is preferred. Safe fencing & up keep is a MUST!!!!!
