Maxine was Champion at the August 2006 Wine Country Classic H/J in Really Low Jumpers after 4 years as broodmare. Also completed Woodside Horse Novice division in August 2006. Previously evented to training level and schooled preliminary. Has only been used as a trail horse for the last year and a half. Easy to catch. Stands for Farrier, vet, etc. Our horses live on 30 open acres. Is a lead mare temperament. Very smart. Does not flinch at the following: Chainsaws, Log-Splitters, Compressors, nail guns, Caterpillar tractors, John Deere Tractors, Sawmills, trucks driving past her, trees falling, chickens, coyotes, mountain lions. To my dismay, she still walks away from white plastic bags (funny), yet put her head on my husband’s shoulder when he’s been shooting (ironic). Has been to the ocean and loved it. She is too bossy with our daughter’s new trail QH.
